Here is the current development path. I haven’t worked out the release numbering yet.

Silver Smalltalk

Dec 2010 – Jan 2011
1) Serialization support for all Smalltalk objects
2) “File out” methods for all Smalltalk classes
3) Collection classes for Lists and Dictionaries
4) Smalltalk inspectors for major classes
5) Additional widget support (TabPanel, StackPanel, etc)
6) Support Silverlight animation classes and storyboards
7) Load from serialized image for application deployment

Jan 2011
1) “Real time” (Comet) support for Google ChannelAPI
2) Simple widget layout designer
3) Color and styling tools
4) Simple graphic design tool
5) Simple animation tool

Feb 2011
1) Physics engine for games (similar to APE in ActionScript)
2) Simple “Scratch like” user language

Google Server

Dec 2010 – Jan 2011
1) Developer account support
2) Application deployment management
3) ChannelAPI – “real time” testing
4) “Fetch URL” support
5) Mail support
6) Stored graphic images

Jan 2011
1) BlobServer support
2) Image manipulation support
3) Google account login

    How likely is there to be a version of Silver Smalltalk that can be used to create desktop .Net applications? You could sell such a system for real money because there is no such product out there for .Net.
